This policy explains how VPL Agritech, a proprietorship of Padidam Prathap Reddy ("VPL", "we") handles personal data when you use www.vplagritech.com. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We do not sell personal data.

What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, phone, email, inquiry type and message. The form opens your own email app with these details filled in; nothing is stored on our website. When you send the email we receive it in our mailbox and use it only to reply to you.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address, sent to us by email in the same way, used only to send VPL updates until you ask us to stop.
- Phone, email and WhatsApp links: if you call, email or message us, we receive what you choose to share and use it to respond. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
- Website analytics, only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice: Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached the site. We use it to see which pages help visitors. If you choose "Reject", these tools are not loaded at all.
- Preferences kept in your browser: your language choice and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us.
- Hosting logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Farmers and the FarmConnect app
Farmer, land, crop and payment data collected through the FarmConnect app is handled under a separate notice and consent, explained in Telugu at onboarding. This website policy does not cover it. The FarmConnect App Privacy Policy explains what the app collects and how to delete your account.

Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the service providers that run this website and our communication: Cloudflare (hosting), Google (analytics, only with your consent), and our email and WhatsApp providers. Some of them may process data outside India. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for others' marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: as long as needed to deal with them, and no longer than 24 months after our last exchange, unless the law needs us to keep them longer.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: Google Analytics keeps event data for up to 14 months.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or erase it, withdraw consent you gave (for analytics, use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page), nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and raise a grievance. Write to info@vplagritech.com or +91 96768 45909. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for adults in agriculture and the seed industry. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers. No passwords or payment details are collected on this website.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
